HOW IT WORKS

Seven steps to your made to order bag

Style of BagThe USA made serrated edge bag, or serrated edge, J-Cut and twill handle in natural or white kraft, or a euro tote.

Size and QuantityEach size is its own run: from 6,000 bags on the USA made bag, 1,500 or 1,600 on the full color kraft styles and 1,000 on the euro tote. Sizes do not combine to reach a quantity tier.

Handle ColorKraft, white or black on every kraft style, plus red and navy on the USA made bag; nine stock colors on the twill handle bag, at no upcharge. Rope, ribbon, twill and more on the euro tote.

Send ArtworkWe send the dieline for each size. On the full color styles your art can cover every panel, front, back and gussets, in up to four color process. The USA made bag prints one to three PMS matched colors.

Approve the ProofA digital proof or a physical pre-production bag, your choice, on a first order. Nothing runs until you sign it.

ProductionPlates are made, the sheet is printed, then the bag is formed with handles and bottom board fitted.

DeliveryAllow 6 to 8 weeks from artwork approval on the USA made bag and 18 to 22 weeks on the full color styles. Expect plus or minus 10 percent on the quantity, which is normal for a made to order run.

PRINTING

Every side is yours to print

On the full color styles the sheet is printed flat, before it is folded and glued into a bag. That is why the pattern can run across the gusset without a seam, why a solid color can cover the whole bag, and why there is no print area to work inside. The USA made bag takes a one to three color logo in PMS matched ink, with coverage up to 100 percent.

Made to order bag questions

How many bags do I have to order?

6,000 bags per size on the USA made serrated edge bag, 1,500 per size on the full color serrated edge shopper, 1,600 per size on the J-Cut and twill handle bags, 1,000 per size on the euro tote. Each size is its own run and sizes do not combine to reach a quantity tier. There is no maximum: runs above the top tier on any bag are quoted individually.

Which bags are made in the USA?

The USA made serrated edge bag at the top of the page: natural kraft or white kraft with twisted paper handles, printed in one to three PMS matched colors, from 6,000 bags per size, in 6 to 8 weeks from artwork approval. The full color styles are made to order and run 18 to 22 weeks.

Can the artwork cover the whole bag?

Yes. The bag is printed on the flat sheet before it is formed, so full bleed artwork can run across the front, back and both gussets, in up to four color process and up to 100 percent ink coverage.

How long does it take?

6 to 8 weeks from artwork approval on the USA made bag. About 18 to 22 weeks on the full color styles, so if you have a season in mind, work back from it and get the artwork to us early.

Do I get a sample before the run?

A first order needs a pre-production proof. Choose a digital proof or a physical printed bag. Reorders on the same art do not.

I need fewer than 1,500 bags.
